Block Dressing
We ensure that the marble blocks we procure are properly dressed or reshaped into perfect squares or rectangles, depending on the blocks. The blocks are squared using a single diamond blade and is most effective as it removes the avoidable uneven or cracked edges of the raw blocks to ensure proper cuts into multiple slabs.
Slab Cutting & Measurements
The raw blocks are cut into multiple slabs using a Gangsaw machine. Each and every block has a different size of its own. Most blocks are always Rectangular/Square in shape- this way wastage is minimised. Furthermore, with our new processing method, all slabs are cut into 18mm-20mm thickness. We focus on the ideal thickness of 18mm-20mm to ensure that even the softer marbles can be used for flooring and provide the same sturdiness as the harder marbles.
Box Cuts
We provide a 90° rectangular/square cuts for each slab across the blocks. With the proper dressing and a perfect cut, we contain the marble laying wastage for each client to 5% as compared to the typical 15%-20% industry standard. Each side is properly dressed and packed and fibre backed to enhance the strength and neatness of each marble slabs. As a company we focus on ensuring that every square feet of marble is useable.
VRT
As industry leaders of East India, it is our duty to provide the clients with the finest quality and highest standard of natural stones. As such, we do a plant epoxy finish for each slab before it is transported to our yard for display. While applying the epoxy finish, the resin penetrates deeply into the natural crack lines of stone, thus causing the slabs to be better restored and enhancing the strength and durability of each slab.
